today talk to hui xiang n shi wen. "friends are angels guiding our lives". they spoke words of wisdom but i got REALLY EMO. argh. nt their fault of cos. its me. tauruses are emo momo ppl? a new taurus fren said tt before. anyway it was another 当头棒喝。but im so tired of thinkg abt it.
but i do miss my most respected president man. happy to hear from him. he's alws saying those real meaningful stuff n cracking a joke ard it. haha.
SW said stuff which was so true, it hurt me. not her. its the truth tt i have been hiding deep deep inside me, knowing it. esp the "council (strong), uni (gullible)". oh man oh man. n she showed me youtube sad video n i almost cried. except tt i have trained hard to be cynical. oh dear.
on another note: hx asked if we r gg back LTC. we r too old (yes), we have no time(yes), we want to contribute(still thinkg, ms chiew was so nice to send me a personal happy bdae msg on 21st apr). hmmm. apparently the ntu guys got their hall camps n wun be gg back. maybe oni left ngern. n i must ask mich if we r gg back as station masters. hmmm.

on another completely different note, today was internship first day at mcys! :)
they took in q abit of interns, but all from different divisions n i was in Youth division w bernard. first days revealed tt my pay is $100 more than expected. its a GOVT ministry, what did i expect right? haha.
the hours r really flexible. for my field surveys in somerset skateparks, i oni need to go to orchard for 4 hrs a day during weekday. Good? no la, cos i gt to work on weekends n input data myself in the office for 2 weeks, til we finish all our independent fieldwork. n i hope i rmb how to use spss.. :x
first day was really slack. after briefing, we sat in our "office" (2 of us had a room!) n chit chat like nobody's business + play handphone games + checking if the comp in our room gt CPU + betting if our supervisor will brg us to the skateparks in his car. i guessed public bus, bernard guessed car. results? : supervisor took us down in a CAB (public car) so we had a draw!! haha. today damn slack but work shld start coming in. except we dont have to report to office for now= no formal wear! (yay!)
its good. i wan to extend if possible. :D :D :D

im happy. today went ECP. havent been near the water for very long n it just has this calming effect on me. love the whole vibrant envrm! went cycling on a tandem which was SOOO scary!! :s
ate alot of good food today, best being the famous satay beehoon in ECP foodcentre which ppl were queueing for even before the stall opened at 6pm. but the most feel-good meal was STILL kaya toast n kopi! im killiney- influenced. :D
good company. good food. good times.
next i want to:
1) go ktv (with mich, shi wen, shi zhen on sun)
2) go ktv (with my rag ppl!)
3) go mahjong
4) go watch angels n demons ( i wan i wan this badly~!)
5) go "mini foodhunt" with my ij buds when syl is back!
6) go minds cafe (maybe my jc classmates? havent met them for long)
7) internship (yeah, tired i am, im looking forward to it)
8) night cycling( arts club ppl)
9) go ayg volunteer
10) go rock climbing
11) go swimming
12) watch korean F4 n 篮球火
13) play all possible games on fb n online
14) have a good rest
there's really alot i wan to do! so i dont feel bad although im nt gg anywhere this summer hol. its alr packed according to how i want. :)

someone else wrote on twitter: wld such a intensive follow up be at twitter at the next sg general elections? my idea is no. exactly cos it wasnt a govt initiative n no govt interference therefore singaporeans felt empowered to do something for their society. even foreigners were asking what is this AWARE saga that ranked no.1 above swine flu topics.
after all the calls for freedom, we were entitled to take our stand and air them. according to the reports, cna didnt report as well as blogs n twitter, voices from the public abt this never-before religion-backed saga came from singaporeans who actually went down to see the EGM.
i feel that it was no defeat nor victory(except for the committee itself). it was a blown up issue which pierced the apathetic Singaporeans. but i do hope that singapore will be back to its peaceful n secular state. if there was no one trying to upset this secular balance, there wouldnt be such realisation on how much we dont like views to be imposed on us.
its 1am now n im studying chinese. my coherence n eng sentences sucks. :/
